I’ve uploaded the presentation of my session to the CrowdVine system used during the conference, but that part can only be access when logged in to the system. So I also uploaded the presentation to Slideshare where it is available to anyone.

  1. Hi
Just blogged your excellent work on recording lectures. By far the most interesting presentation at ALT.

One question. Do you have any data om improved pass rates by students?

  2. Hi Donald,

Thank you for the kind words and the great write-up of my session. It was struggle figuring out what to include (and what not to include) in those 12 minutes that I got. It is great to see/read that you got all this out of it.

The data on the improved pass rates is included in an article that has been submitted just now (since the research is part of my PhD research it has to take that route). But did you see the information provided by John Davies? They found similar results for weblectures that had been recorded by the lecturers. Though they were not using recorded lectures, they did find similar results.
