The UNFOLD Project is an innovative European Coordination Action, with wider international links. It will support and develop three communities of practice that will focus on taking the IMS Learning Design specification from a paper document through to widespread adoption and effective use. The partners are the Open Universiteit Nederland, Bolton Institute/CETIS in the UK, the University of Pompeu Fabra in Spain, who are managing the project, and the European Universities Continuing Education Network (EUCEN). Each community of practice will develop new understandings, agreements and good practices and will communicate with the other communities about what they need and what works and what doesn’t work.”(bron)
